How to Make the Perfect Mojito

  1. In a tall glass, add 2 tablespoons of cane sugar, 1 oz lime juice, and 10–15 fresh mint leaves.

  2. Gently muddle to release the mint’s oils and dissolve the sugar.

  3. Pour in 2 oz white rum and fill the glass with crushed ice.

  4. Top with 2–4 oz chilled club soda, depending on taste.

  5. Stir gently to combine.

  6. Garnish with a mint sprig and lime wedge, and serve immediately.
