Donald Schuman began his wine career in New York City in the early 1990s, where he joined the House of Burgundy Distribution Company. Over 16 years, he rose through the ranks to become General Sales Manager, working closely with many of the city's top restaurants. During this time, he also served as a sommelier at Park Avenue Café, where he developed and managed a respected wine program.
In 2007, Don founded Schumerica Distributors, Inc., building a portfolio and client base over eight successful years. He later transitioned to Beverage Manager for a collection of Manhattan wine bars, continuing his commitment to quality and hospitality. Now based in Delray Beach, Florida, Don brings decades of industry insight and enthusiasm to his work—alongside his constant companion, a very handsome Golden Retriever named Frank.
